An improved agricultural feed and method of producing the same are disclosed. The method includes obtaining mill filter cake from the raw sugar cane process not later than 48 hours after the generation of the mill filter cake. The mill filter cake is then dried so that its moisture content is 12% or less. Once dried to this level the resulting product will not ferment and will remain stable and resist the absorption of additional moisture. In a particularly preferred embodiment the mill filter cake is dried using a cyclonic dryer. Other preferred embodiments include pelletizing the feed product and combining it with other known feed products to create blended feed products.

The invention relates to composite materials of construction comprising thermosetting resins and fibrous reinforcing or filling agents therefore as well as methods for the fabrication thereof. The phenol-aldehyde resin is a novolak formed by condensation of a phenol component comprising at least one bifunctional phenol with at least one aldehyde component represented by the formula: R-CHO wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a halogenated methyl group.

The invention concerns a novel cryptophelebia leucotreta granulovirus. CrleGV-SA was isolated from infected C. leucotreta in South Africa. It is a double stranded DNA granulovirus with a genome size by restriction fragment analysis of between 105 kilobases and 122 kilobases. The restriction enzyme digestion profiles of CrleGV-SA are shown in Table 1 and Drawing 1/6 (DNA profile of CrleGV-SA with six single restriction enzymes digests). The virus is a biological control agent for C. leucotreta.
