A beam-type pumpjack consists of: a support, a body, a crank, a walking beam and a head, a suspension mechanism with a cable, a polished rod with a rod string, a wellhead seal, production tubing, and a geared motor, and is characterized in that fastened along the walking beam is the rod of a rod string hydraulic cylinder, the ends of which are fastened, via a cable and a pulley mounted on the upper part of the head, to the rod string suspension; the production tubing is mounted with the aid of a special attachment to the end of the rods of hydraulic cylinders fastened to a casing string; and the annuli of the rod string hydraulic cylinder and the production tubing hydraulic cylinders are connected to pipes as communicating vessels (as explained in physics). The hydraulic cylinders move the rod string and the tubing string by receiving force from an individual motor pump via a valve mechanism, the weight of the respective strings being counterbalanced by virtue of the diameters of the pistons of the hydraulic cylinders. Via the valve mechanism, which is controlled by a tracing follower, an oil-circulating power pump supplies oil, according to a set programme, to the head of the pistons of the rod string hydraulic cylinder and the tubing string hydraulic cylinders in turn. When the walking beam begins to move upwards, the suspension point of the rod string moves upwards according to a set programme, and, by virtue of the communicating cylinders, the tubing string moves downwards; at the same time, the stroke of the plunger increases due to the relative movement on the walking beam and the movement of the tubing string in the opposite direction. The set programme of the suspension point of the rod string provides attenuation of hydraulic shocks on the apparatus, thus increasing the service life of the apparatus.
