An improved agricultural feed and method of producing the same are disclosed. The method includes obtaining mill filter cake from the raw sugar cane process not later than 48 hours after the generation of the mill filter cake. The mill filter cake is then dried so that its moisture content is 12% or less. Once dried to this level the resulting product will not ferment and will remain stable and resist the absorption of additional moisture. In a particularly preferred embodiment the mill filter cake is dried using a cyclonic dryer. Other preferred embodiments include pelletizing the feed product and combining it with other known feed products to create blended feed products.

Green tea has become very popular during the last few years because of its beneficial influence on human health. Special quality characteristics should be maintained in green teas in order to access a very competitivemarket. Extra value can be added to green teas when it is processed using organic green leaf. However, the prices of green tea fall down due to overproduvtion of green tea in tea producing countries. Therefore, cost of production should be reduced to offer green tea at lower prices to be in the international competition. As a solution, a new technique is introduced with a special enzyme inactivator for processing green tea. The green tea leaves are steamed in a blancher (3) with perforated steam tubes which are fixed to a vertical frame, standing parallel to another frame. The leaves are fed to the top of the apparatus and fall freely during the steam treatment. Cost of production in the new system can be reduced due to the application of the automated system.

Zeolite having an alumosilicate composition and a molar ratio SiO₂/Al2O₃equal or less than 450 and chosen from a range ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-35, ZSM-38, ZSM-48, BETA is used as a catalyst. Gallosilicate, galloalumosilicate, ferrum silicate, ferrumalumosilicate, chromosilicate, chromoalumosilicate having a structure ZSM-5, or ZSM-11, or ZSM-48, or BETA, or alumophosphate having a structure of type of ALPO-5, or ALPO-11, or ALPO-31, or ALPO-36, or ALPO-37, or ALPO-40 with elements introduced into structure at stage of synthesis and chosen from the following range: magnesium, zinc, gallium, manganese, ferrum, silicium, cobalt and cadmium are also used as a catalyst. The catalyst for all variants of the method can also contain zinc, and/or gallium, and/or rare-earth elements, or platinum group metals in a quantity equal or less than 10 mass %.
