New variety of retroviruses, designated by HIV-2, of which samples have been deposited at ECACC under the numbers 87.01.1001 and 87.01.1002 and at NCIB under the numbers 12.398 and 12.399. The invention also relates to the antigens susceptible of being obtained from said virus, in particular from the proteins p12, p16, p26 and gp 140. These different antigens are applicable to the diagnosis of the disease, particularly by contact with a serum of the patient on whom the diagnosis is to be carried out. It also relates to immunogenic compositions containing more particularly the glycoprotein sp140. Finally, it relates to nucleotidic sequences useable particularly as hybridization probes derived from the RNA of HIV-2.

The invention relates to a method for building anti-seismic and anti-cyclonic individual housings. It is comprised of the combination of 1) piles consisting of a hollow strut and a base which are prefabricated; 2) elements which are also prefabricated and are made of reinforced concrete comprising girders, beams (6) and shell-like panels used both for forming floors (4) and the outer or inner walls (5) said elements being in the first place assembled by bolting (14, 15); 3) stiffening posts (7) and ties (8) of reinforced concrete, cast in place, forming the definitive assembly; 4) a roof consisting of a metal framework attached to the concrete parts, and of a covering of undulated galvanized pre-lacquered steel sheet. The method allows the building of houses of any size in conformity with anti-seismic and anti-cyclonic regulations, particularly in regions subjected to hurricanes.

The shutter for the security of building closures comprises an outer wooden boarding (1), an intermediate steel-plated metal sheet (2), an inner wooden frame (3), the assembly being fixed by blind screws (4). The closure is comprised of a flush-mounted espagnolette (5) housed in sealed heads. The protection of the flaps is provided by a mortise joint of the metal parts (7). The security of the edges is provided by means of a corner piece (8) which is fixed by dowelling in the masonry boards and receiving a U-shaped profiled section (9) welded and embedded into the wooden frame (3). The hinges (10) are counter-welded and welded to the intermediate steel-plated metal sheets (2). This method of fabrication of shutters combines both the advantages of aesthetic and heat insulation qualities of wooden shutters with the security of a metal shutter thus designed as well as of the various security devices linked thereto.
