The purpose is to reduce the odor of a water-absorbable resin produced during the absorption of water. Disclosed is a process for production of a water-absorbable resin by subjecting a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer to the reverse phase suspension polymerization. The process comprises the following steps (A) to (C): (A) adding an aqueous solution of the water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer to a petroleum-derived hydrocarbon dispersion medium to disperse the aqueous solution in the dispersion medium; (B) adding a surfactant to the dispersion solution to further disperse the surfactant in the dispersion solution; and (C) performing the reverse phase suspension polymerization using a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator optionally in the presence of an internal crosslinking agent.

The shield (11) is a sheet adapted to be attached in a manner known per se, to closely seal around the opening of the void (13). Said sheet is provided with a protruding nozzle (14) for receiving filling substance. The nozzle is arranged in a part of the shield (11) which in use of the device is arranged over the opening of the void.

The invention relates to veterinary medicine and general medicine and can be used for curing ecto- and endoparasitic diseases. The inventive water dispersed ivermectin or avermectin dosage form contains water as a solvent, dimethyl acetamide or propilene glycol or glyceroformal as a co-solvent, detergents like tween 80, solutol, cremophore and other polyoxyethylated derivatives of natural oils used as a micella forming agent, benzyl alcohol, parabenes as preservatives, a phosphato-citrated buffer solution and additionally a vitamin E (tocopherols). The curing effect of the inventive dosage band in comparison with the analogue, applied during various ecto- and endoparasitic diseases of cattle is higher than 41.1-50.5 % and 36.6-43.3 % for sheep. The maximum curing effect is obtained in a singe puncture of a dose per 50 kg body weight. The drug product in therapeutic doses is non-toxic.

The invention relates to chemical equipment, in particular to the internal arrangement of chemical reactors used for processing in a gas-liquid medium, and can be used for example, for synthesizing carbamide from ammonia and carbon dioxide at high temperature and pressure. The inventive nozzle comprises perforated separating baffles (7) and (8) and tubular contacting devices (9) fixed to a supporting grid (13) by the upper ends thereof. The contact device (9) comprises vertical tubular circular-section elements i.e. one descending element (10) and one lifting element (11) connected to each other in a lower part thereof with the aid of a U-tube element (12). The descending element (10) is fitted with an orifice (14) and an orifice (15) for supplying gas and fluid, whereas the lifting element (11) is fitted with an orifice (17) embodied in the supporting grid for the output of a gas-liquid mixture. A short shell (18) is fixed to the bottom of the supporting grid and creates an air-cushion enabling the gas-liquid mixture to be uniformly distributed through the contact devices (9) and the cross section of the reactor. The inventive nozzle can be produced in an easy manner and makes it possible to increase the degree of phase interreaction.
