The embodiment of the invention discloses an uplink synchronization method in a multi-carrier system, comprising the following steps that a base station selects one or more than one first member carrier which does not establish uplink synchronization with the base station from a plurality of member carriers supported by a terminal; then the base station acquires the timing advance (TA) acquired by the first member carrier carrying out uplink transmission and sends TA information to the terminal; and the terminal carries out the uplink transmission on the first member carrier according to the TA. By adopting the invention, the uplink synchronization can be established between the base station and UE (User Equipment) in the multi-carrier system.

本发明实施例公开了一种多载波系统中的上行同步方法,该方法为:基站从终端支持的多个成员载波中选取未与该基站建立上行同步的一个或多个第一成员载波;然后基站获取终端在所述第一成员载波上进行上行传输所需要的定时提前量(TA),并将该TA信息发送给终端;终端按照所述TA在所述第一成员载波上进行上行传输。采用本发明,能够实现多载波系统中基站与UE间上行同步的建立。
