MOTION MECHANISM, WHICH IS MOUNTED ON PUMPKIN SEED EXTRACTOR MACHINES AND CONTROLS THE CLEANING AND QUALITY OF THE SEEDS HARVESTED VIA IMAGING SYSTEM AND CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENTS THROUGH ITS AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to machines used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning.

The invention particularly relates to, in the harvesting process carried out by machines used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning,

motion mechanism providing automatic adjustment of the contact hardness of the pallet rubbers of the adjustable pallets towards the inner walls of the perforated drums in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, by the user being in the cab of the tractor via commanding over the control unit,

imaging system, which provides monitoring of the condition of the seeds collected in the tank during harvesting and the advancement distance of the cylinder in the controlling operation by means of control unit of the motion mechanism through any monitoring unit notably, tablet, screen, LED, LCD located in the cab by the user,

configured to monitor the condition of seeds collected in the tank and automatically perform the adjustment of the contact hardness of the pallet rubbers of the adjustable pallets located in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, where the final cleaning of the pumpkin seeds takes place, towards the inner walls of the perforated drums in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, by the user being in the cab of the tractor.

PRIOR ART

Nowadays, in the production process of pumpkin seeds, seed pumpkins are planted on agricultural lands and then harvesting is carried out. In the harvesting process of seed pumpkins, machines, which performs all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning, that do not require manpower, have been developed.

In the harvesting process carried out by machines performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning, the pumpkins matured on the agricultural land are aligned in a straight line on the ground. After their alignment step, pumpkins are taken from the ground by being pricked by the machine's spiked roller, firstly conveyed to the crusher chamber by means of a conveyor and then crushed. Crushed pumpkins are transported into the battering chamber through transport chamber and crushed in the battering chamber and delivered to the I. cleaning chamber and the II. cleaning chamber respectively. Pumpkin seeds cleaned separately in the I. and II. cleaning chambers are then transferred to the tank from the II. cleaning chamber.

In the prior art, pallets secured to the interior of the perforated drums of the cleaning chambers of the machines comprise pallet arms fixed at certain intervals on the pallet shaft and pallet rubbers which are connected to each pallet arm. During the cleaning process following the crushing of the pumpkin in the machine, the pallet rubbers operating in the perforated drum of the I and II. cleaning chambers remove the pumpkin juice and pulp through the holes in the perforated drum by striping the inner side walls of the perforated drum.

Specified machines are used only in the harvesting process of the shelled pumpkin seeds. This is because, the cleaning compression applied on the various shelled pumpkin seeds by the pallets operating in the perforated drums of the I. and II. cleaning chambers is in excess. Due to the hardness of the pallets operating in the perforated drum, which are arranged according to the shelled pumpkin seeds, unshelled pumpkin seeds, which are weaker than the shelled pumpkin seeds, getr broken and product losses occur.

Regardless of the type of the seed, shelled or unshelled, continuously happens wear on pallet rubbers performing the stripping operation on the inner side walls of the perforated drum. They form bends backwards according to the direction of rotation. In this case, effective cleaning cannot be guaranteed and machine efficiency losses occur as pallet rubbers cannot strip the inner side walls of the perforated drum.

In the prior art, there is a patent application according to the invention, which has been developed for the purpose of eliminating the aforementioned drawback, titled "Improved Adjustment Mechanism for Pallets Located in Cleaning Chambers for Harvester Crushers" no TR 2018 07768. In the abstract of the relevant application, it is stated that: "The invention is related to a pallet (P) connected to two separate cleaning chambers (T), namely I and II, of a pumpkin harvester crusher machine, which is used in the harvesting of the seed pumpkins, characterized in that comprises an adjustment mechanism (A), which provides quick and easy hardness adjustment of the pallet rubber (640), which contacts the inner wall of the perforated drum (T1) and separates pumpkin seed and pulp, and thus high efficiency of the harvesting operation performed with the pumpkin harvester crusher machine, and which comprises tube (100) connected to two separate pallets (P), shaft (200), head (300), ring (400), drive nut (500), a plurality of pallet arms (600), milled flange (700) or transfer flange (800), and which performs the adjustment of the compression stiffness of the pallet rubbers (640) located on the pallet arms (600) to the inner wall of the perforated drum (T1) by means of rotation of the movement nut (500) by the user."

Examining the abstract and contents of the relevant patent application, it is seen that the contacting hardness of the pallet rubbers on the inner wall of the perforated drum is performed by the adjustment mechanism. In the commanding operation of the adjustment mechanism, the user moves the rod of the pallet forward/backward by rotating the movement nut in the adjustment mechanism. At this stage, the pallet arms which are connected to the rod move on the vertical plate having an inclined channel and the contact distance between the pallet rubbers and the inner wall of the perforated drum and thus the hardness is adjusted.

The manual adjustment of the hardness of the pallet rubbers as specified is possible only by descending of the user from the tractor and after a laborious effort.

Furthermore, during the harvesting process, it should be checked continuously whether the seeds collected in the tank are duly cleaned after the cleaning process, regardless of whether the seeds are shelled or not. Hardness adjustment of the pallet rubbers should be performed in case the seeds do not come out with desired cleaning. In the control of the cleaning process of the pumpkin seeds, the user or another worker checks the seeds inside the tank at certain time intervals. If the seeds are not clean, the machine and thus the tractor are stopped, required hardness adjustment of the pallet rubbers is made and the harvesting process is continued. The harvesting process in this way causes time, labor and cost losses due to many adversities during the harvesting process such as continuous shut downs of the tractor, adjustments and employment of an extra personnel.

As a result, due to the draw backs described in the prior art and explained in detail above, the necessity of development in the related technical field has emerged.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

Based on this state of the art, the invention seeks to solve the existing problems.

The object of the present invention is to provide a fully automatic working machine used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning.

Another object of the invention is, in the harvesting process carried out by machines used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning,

machine integration of the motion mechanism providing automatic adjustment of the contact hardness of the pallet rubbers of the adjustable pallets towards the inner walls of the perforated drums in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, by the user being in the cab of the tractor via commanding over the control unit,

machine integration of the imaging system, which provides monitoring of the condition of the seeds collected in the tank during harvesting and the advancement distance of the cylinder in the controlling operation by means of control unit of the motion mechanism through any monitoring unit notably, tablet, screen, led, led located in the cab by the user,

configured to monitor the condition of seeds collected in the tank and automatically perform the adjustment of the contact hardness of the pallet rubbers of the adjustable pallets located in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, where the final cleaning of the pumpkin seeds takes place, towards the inner walls of the perforated drums in the I. and II. cleaning chambers, by the user being in the cab of the tractor.

Thanks to the motion mechanism and the imaging system of the invention integrated into the machine used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning;

the condition of the pumpkin seeds collected in the tank during the harvesting process of the shelled/unshelled pumpkins grown on the agricultural land can be monitored by the user on the tractor,

after monitoring, hardness, thus the contact distance adjustment of the pallet rubbers located in the I. cleaning chamber and the II. cleaning chamber against the perforated drum can be performed from the inside of the tractor cab also via monitoring by the imaging system,

harvesting of seed pumpkins grown on the agricultural land can be carried out automatically,

the need for unnecessary employees during the harvesting process and therefore the cost losses due to this are eliminated,

harvesting of seed pumpkins is carried out with low harvesting time and high harvesting efficiency.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In Figure 1 , there is a representative side view of the machine (A) connected to the rear of the tractor (T), which is used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning.

Machine (A) used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning, comprises;

a chassis (100) for connecting all elements of the machine (A) on it,

shaft (110) connected between the tail shaft of the tractor (T) and the machine (A), which ensures the operation of the machine (A),

spiked roller (200), which collects pumpkin aligned on the agricultural land,

conveyor (300) for conveying the pumpkins on the spiked roller (200) to the crushing chamber (400),

crushing chamber (400), in which crushing of the pumpkins conveyed by the conveyor (300) is carried out,

transport chamber (500) performing the delivery operation of the pumpkins crushed in the crushing chamber (400) to the battering chamber (600),

Adjusted pallet (710) positioned in the perforated drum (701) of the I. cleaning chamber (700) and the II. cleaning chamber (800) comprises;

tube (711) connected through bearing (702) horizontally to the interior of the perforated drum (701) along its length,

central shaft (712) having a rectangular cross-section positioned in the tube (711) so as to move forward and backward,

sloped part (713), which are connected in plurality at certain intervals on the central shaft (712),

T part (714) having a pallet rubber (715) thereon and being attached to each sloped part (713) in a moveable manner.

The motion mechanism (720) of the invention, which performs adjustment to increase or decrease the contact distance of each pallet rubber (715) to the inner wall of the perforated drum by moving the center shaft (712) of the adjustable pallet (710) in the tube (711) back and forth, comprises;

connection chassis (721) fixed separately to the exterior part of each of the I. cleaning chamber (700) and the II. cleaning chamber (800) at the rear of the machine (A),

mechanism shaft (722) separately connected to the rectangular center shaft (712) of both cleaning chambers (700-800),

cylinder (723) with hydraulic structure connected to the mechanism shaft (722) on its end portions and separately fixed to the connection chassis (721),

tracking plate (724) fixed between both cylinders (723) and the mechanism shafts (722),

ruler (725), which is connected to the connection chassis (721) against the tracking plate (724) and provides measurement of the forward/backward movement amounts of cylinder (723) according to the alignment of the tracking plate (724),

control unit (726), which provides control of the forward/backward movement of the cylinder (723) of the motion mechanism (720) by the user in the cab (Tk) of the tractor (T) without getting out of it.

The imaging system (1000) of the invention, which enables the user to observe the advancement distance of the cylinder (723) in the controlling operation of the condition of the seeds collected in the tank (900) during the harvesting operation by means of the control unit (726) of the motion mechanism (720), comprises;

a plurality of cameras (1001) connected to the upper portion of the tank (900) and on the connection chassis (721) in the rear section of the I. cleaning chamber (700) and the II. cleaning chamber (800) by means of the connection arm (1002),

monitoring unit (1003), notably tablet, screen, LED, LCD located in the cab (Tk), where can be viewed images from each camera (1002) to allow the user to observe the advancement distance of the cylinders (723) of the motion mechanism (720), as well as condition of the seeds in the tank (900).

In the production stage of the machine (A), which is used for harvesting, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning, each element is produced separately and then assembled.

Adjustable pallets (710) are mounted on the interiors of the perforated drums (701) of the I. cleaning chamber (700) and the II. cleaning chamber (800) separately. The motion mechanism (720), which allows the automatic adjustment of the contact distance of the pallet rubbers (715) of the adjustable pallets (710) to the inner wall of the perforated drum (701) and thus the hardness, is assembled as shown in Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6.

The control unit (726), which enables the control of the forward/backward movement of the cylinder (723) of the motion mechanism (720) by the user without getting out of the tractor (T), is connected to an appropriate section in the cab (Tk).

The cameras (1001) of the imaging system (1000) are mounted to the connecting chassis (721) in the rear section of the both cleaning drums (700-800) by means of the connection arms (1002).

The monitoring unit (1003), which enables the observation of the images taken from the cameras (1001) without getting out of the tractor (T), is connected to an appropriate section in the cab (Tk). The monitoring unit (1003) can be in the form of tablets, screens, LEDs, LCDs, and allows the images from the cameras (1001) viewed all on a single screen or selection of images separately from each camera (1001).

In the harvesting process with the machine (A), which is used in the harvesting process, which comprises performing all the operations of collecting seed pumpkins from agricultural land, crushing and cleaning, all pumpkins matured on the agricultural land are aligned in a straight line on the ground. The machine (A) is connected to the rear of the tractor (T) as shown in figure 1 and the shaft (110) is placed between the machine (A) and the tail shaft of the tractor (T). The machine is drived through the shaft (110). With the movement of the tractor (T), the machine (A) gets into act and aligned pumpkins are taken from the ground by being pricked by the spiked roller (200) attached to the side of the chassis (100). During the rotation action of the spiked roller (200), the pumpkins pricked on the spikes are removed by means of a comb-like apparatus and fall on to the conveyor (300). Pumpkins on the conveyor (300) are then crushed in the crushing chamber (400) by breaking them.

After that crushed pumpkins are discharged from the crushing chamber (400) into the battering chamber (600) through the transport chamber (500), shredded in the battering chamber (600) and then exposed to pre-cleaning in the I. cleaning chamber (700) and fine cleaning in the II. cleaning chamber (800). By pre-cleaning in the cleaning chamber (700) and fine cleaning in the II. cleaning chamber (800), the pumpkin seeds are separated from the pulp and then transferred to the tank (900).

The view of the pumpkin seeds poured into the tank (900) is reflected on the monitoring unit (1003) in the cab (Tk) through the camera (1001) connected to the tank (900) via the connection arm (1002) and the user is enabled to observe the conditions such as cleaning of the seeds, whether they are crushed or not and tanks' (900) fill rate.

In case the seeds are not completely cleaned, i.e, they are not completely separated from the pulp or the seeds are broken, the user observes this situation on the monitoring unit located in the cab (Tk) and performs the adjustment operation of the adjustable pallet (710) by moving the cylinder (723) of the motion mechanism (720) via the control unit (726) in the cab (Tk).

In this operation, as shown in Figure 6, when the cylinder (723) is moved forward/backward via the control unit (726), the rectangular center shaft (712) is also moved forward/backward together with the cylinder (723). In this stage, the sloped parts (713), which are connected to the central shaft (712), also move together with the central shaft (712). Each sloped part (713) provides increase/decrease of the contact pressure of the pallet rubber (715) connected to it through T part (714) towards the inner wall of the perforated drum (701). Contact distance of the pallet rubbers (715) can be known through observation of the image acquired from the cameras (1001), which are attached by means of connection arms (1002) as such they are positioned above the tracking plate (724) and the ruler (725), on the monitoring unit (1003) according to the unit distance moved. In this way, all of the pallet rubbers (715) can be moved simultaneously to adjust the hardness and thus the machine (A) is used fully automatically.
