CLAIMS

1. Row unit (1 , 1 a, 1 b, 1 c, 1 d, 1 e, 1 f, 1 g, 1 h) for an agricultural implement (2), comprising:

a frame (11 , 132) and a seed furrow-opener (13a, 13b),

wherein the seed furrow-opener comprises a pair of seed discs (131 a, 131 b) rotatably connected to the frame via at least one axle unit (133),

wherein each of the seed discs has a respective geometric axis of rotation (Ra, Rb), and

wherein the axes of rotation are non-parallel to each other, so that a mutual spacing between the peripheries of the seed discs (131 a, 131 b) is non-constant,

characterized in that

the axle unit (133) is pivotable relative to the frame (1 1 , 132), so that the orientation of at least one of the axes of rotation is adjustable.

2. Row unit according to Claim 1 , further comprising an adjusting device (17), which is designed to act on the pivotal position of the axle unit (133) relative to the frame (1 1 , 132).

3. Row unit according to either Claim 1 or 2, further comprising a hub link (135), which is pivotally connected to the axle unit (133), rotatably connected relative to the frame, at a distance from a centre of rotation for the rotation of the axle unit relative to the frame (1 1 , 132).

Row unit according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a hub lever (134), which is fixedly connected to the axle unit (133) rotatably connected relative to the frame and which extends outside a radial outer portion of the axle unit, wherein the hub link is pivotally connected to the hub lever.

5. Row unit according to either Claim 2 or 3, further comprising at least one depth regulator (14a, 14b), wherein the axle unit is mechanically

connected to the depth regulator, so that the pivotal position of the axle unit (133) is adjustable in a predetermined relationship to a set depth of the row unit.

Row unit according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the axle unit comprises an axle mount (1331 ), having a pivot axis (C), about which the axle mount is pivotable relative to the frame and a seed disc axle (1333a, 1333b), about which the seed disc (131 a, 131 b) is rotatable, wherein the pivot axis and the seed disc axle are non-parallel to each other.

7. Row unit according to Claim 6, wherein the axle mount has a pair of seed disc axles (1333a, 1333b), which are non-parallel to each other and to the pivot axis (C).

8. Row unit according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the row unit comprises a row unit frame (1 1 ) and a seed furrow-opener arm

(132), which is pivotable relative to the row unit frame (1 1 ), wherein the axle unit (133) is pivotable relative to the seed furrow-opener arm (132).

9. Agricultural implement (2) comprising at least one row unit (1 ,

1 a, 1 b, 1 c, 1 d, 1 e, 1 f, 1 g, 1 h) according to any one of the preceding claims.

10. Method of adjusting a row unit (1 , 1 a, 1 b, 1 c, 1 d, 1 e, 1 f, 1 g, 1 h), wherein the row unit comprises:

a frame (11 , 132) and a seed furrow-opener (13a, 13b),

wherein the seed furrow-opener comprises a pair of seed discs (131 a,

131 b) rotatably connected to the frame via at least one respective axle unit

(133),

wherein each of the seed discs (131 a, 131 b) have a respective geometric axis of rotation (Ra, Rb), and

wherein the axes of rotation (Ra, Rb) are non-parallel to each other, so that a mutual spacing between the peripheries of the seed discs is non constant, viewed along the circumference of one of the seed discs,

characterized in that

the method comprises pivoting the axle unit relative to the frame (1 1 , 132), so that the orientation of at least one of the axes of rotation (Ra, Rb) is changed.

11. Method according to Claim 10, further comprising pivoting the axle unit (133) together with at least one of a depth regulator (14a, 14b) and a pressure device (16).

12. Method according to Claim 1 1 , wherein the axle unit (133) is pivoted together with an arm (142a, 142b; 162) that supports said depth regulator or press wheel.
