The present application describes a fastener (100) comprising a drive end region (120), a tip end region (106), and at least one screw thread (108) extending from at least proximal the tip end region; and a dowel portion (118) located between the at least one screw thread and the drive end region, said dowel portion comprising a thread form (122) having at least one substantially flat and axially oriented outer surface (126) extending around the dowel portion and at least one channel (124) extending towards the drive end region. A method of manufacturing the fastener is also described.

La présente invention concerne un élément de fixation (100), comprenant : une région d'extrémité d'entraînement (120), une région d'extrémité de pointe (106), et au moins un filetage (108) s'étendant à partir d'au moins le voisinage de la région d'extrémité de pointe ; et une partie cheville (118) située entre le(s) filetage(s) filets de vis et la région d'extrémité d'entraînement, ladite partie cheville comprenant une forme de filetage (122) ayant au moins une surface externe (126) sensiblement plane et orientée axialement s'étendant autour de la partie cheville et au moins un canal (124) s'étendant vers la région d'extrémité d'entraînement. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de fabrication de l'élément de fixation.
