A measurement apparatus (100) for weight measuring composite sheet (180) including a sheet material (180a) having a second material thereon as a coating (180b) and/or as embedded particles (180c) therein. The apparatus includes an x-ray sensor (110) for providing an x-ray signal from x-ray irradiating the composite sheet and an infrared (IR) sensor (120) for providing an IR signal from IR irradiating the composite sheet. A computing device (150) is coupled to receive the x-ray signal and the IR signal that includes a processor (151) having an associated memory (151) for implementing an algorithm, where the algorithm uses the x-ray signal and the IR signal to compute a plurality of weights selected from a weight of the sheet material, a weight of the second material, and a total weight of the composite sheet.

L'invention concerne un appareil de mesure (100) permettant de mesurer le poids d'une feuille composite (180) comprenant un matériau en feuille (180a) comprenant un second matériau sur ce dernier en tant que revêtement (180b) et/ou en tant que particules incorporées (180c) à l'intérieur de ce dernier. L'appareil comprend un capteur de rayons X (110) permettant de fournir un signal de rayons X à partir de l'irradiation par rayons X de la feuille composite et un capteur infrarouge (IR) (120) permettant de fournir un signal IR à partir de l'irradiation par IR de la feuille composite. Un dispositif informatique (150) est couplé de façon à recevoir le signal de rayons X et le signal IR, comprenant un processeur (151) possédant une mémoire associée (151) permettant de mettre en œuvre un algorithme, l'algorithme utilisant le signal de rayons X et le signal IR pour calculer une pluralité de poids sélectionnés parmi un poids du matériau en feuille, un poids du second matériau, et un poids total de la feuille composite.
