CLAIMS

1 ) A unit for supplying ink to the needles of a tattooing device (200; 300), said device (200; 300) comprising a handling unit (2), in which the following can be found:

- a grip (21 a);

- a removable tip (21 b) provided at one end with one or more tattooing needles (5);

- a coupling element (22a) configured to connected said grip (21 a) and said tip (21 b) to each other;

- drive means (7) operatively associated with said grip (21 a) to move said needles (5), by imparting a reciprocating rectilinear motion to them;

- an air movement unit (11 ) driven by said drive means (7) and mechanically connected to said handling unit (2);

- at least one tank (20) for containing the ink, operatively associated with said handling unit (2),

said ink supply unit being characterized in that said air movement unit (1 1 ) is configured to push the air moved by said drive means (7) towards said at least one tank (20), said at least one tank (20) for containing the ink communicating with said air movement unit (1 1 ) by means of valve means (V1 , V2), in which once conveyed into said at least one tank (20) by means of said valve means (V1 , V2), the air forces the ink to be dispensed from said at least one tank (20) onto said needles (5).

2) An ink supply unit according to claim 1 , characterized in that said air movement unit (11 ) comprises:

- a piston (12) on which a needle-holder (10) is fitted which defines an annular chamber (16) into which the air moved by said drive unit (7) is pushed;

- an elastic means adapted to cause said needles (5) to return to resting position, the lower part of said piston (12) being coupled with the upper part of said elastic means (13).

3) An ink supply unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said tip (21 b) comprises:

- said at least one tank (20) for containing the ink;

- an ergonomic grip element (24) interposed between said coupling element (22a) and said at least one tank (20);

- a cover element (26) adapted to be inserted into said ergonomic grip element (24) and to contain said needles (5).

4) An ink supply unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a length adjustment device of the needles (5) of said tip (21 b).

5) An ink supply unit according to claim 4, characterized in that said length adjustment device of said needles (5) comprises:

- a shaped tooth (27) belonging to a substantially tubular grip member (21 ) adapted to be coupled to said grip (21 a);

- a shaped recess (28) having a profile which can be matched with the profile of said shaped tooth (27),

said shaped tooth (27) and said shaped recess (28) acting in conjunction with each other to allow adjusting the length of said needles (5) in reasonable manner.

6) An ink supply unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it provides a channel (19a) for supplying the air that exits said annular chamber (16) towards the tank (20) itself according to a labyrinthine path.

7) An ink supply unit according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that said tip (21 b) and said air movement unit (1 1 ) are coaxial with respect to a longitudinal axis (X) of said needle-holder (10) and are integral with each other.

8) An ink supply unit according to any one of claims 2 to 7, characterized in that said cover element (26) is configured to translate axially or to roto-translate, taking on:

- a first position wherein said shaped cover element (26) is uncoupled from said tank (20), allowing the ink to come out;

- a second position wherein said shaped cover element (26) is coupled to said tank (20) by means of first and second abutment members (31 , 32), preventing the ink from coming out of the tank (20) itself.

9) An ink supply unit according to claim 8, characterized in that said first abutment members consist of two shaped protrusions (29, 30) belonging to said cover element (26), and in that said second abutment members (31 , 32) consist of a stop element (31 ) associated with said at least one tank (20) and with an end (32) of the outlet mouth (33) of said at least one tank (20).

10) An ink supply unit according to any one of the preceding claims,

characterized in that said at least one tank (20) for containing the ink and said air movement unit (1 1 ) are associated with said grip (21 a).

11 ) An ink supply unit according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that said at least one tank (20) for containing the ink and said air movement unit (1 1 ) are associated with said tip (21 b).
