(EN) The present invention relates to a method for processing an audio signal, comprising the following steps: performing a spectrum analysis of the current frame of the audio signal to determine bandwidth information that indicates to which of a plurality of bands including a first band and a second band the current frame corresponds; determining information on the order corresponding to the present frame on the basis of the bandwidth information; performing a linear predictive analysis of the present frame to generate a first set linear predictive transform coefficient of a first order; performing a vector quantization on the first set linear predictive coefficient to generate a first set index; performing a linear predictive analysis of the current frame to generate a second set linear predictive transform coefficient of a second order in accordance with the information on the order; and performing a vector quantization on a second set difference by using the first set index and the second set linear predictive transform coefficient, when the second set linear predictive coefficient is generated.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter un signal audio, comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à : exécuter une analyse de spectre de la trame courante du signal audio pour déterminer des informations de bande passante qui indiquent à quelle bande parmi une pluralité de bandes incluant une première bande et une deuxième bande la trame courante correspond ; déterminer des informations sur l'ordre correspondant à la présente trame sur la base des informations de bande passante ; exécuter une analyse prédictive linéaire de la présente trame pour générer un premier coefficient de transformation prédictive linéaire estimé d'un premier ordre ; exécuter une quantification vectorielle sur le premier coefficient prédictif linéaire estimé pour générer un premier index estimé ; exécuter une analyse prédictive linéaire de la trame courante pour générer un deuxième coefficient de transformation prédictive linéaire estimé d'un deuxième ordre selon les informations relatives à l'ordre ; et exécuter une quantification vectorielle sur une deuxième différence estimée en utilisant le premier index estimé et le deuxième coefficient de transformation prédictive linéaire estimé, lorsque le deuxième coefficient prédictif linéaire estimé est généré.
