A polymeric film or sheet comprising an acid copolymer composition comprising acid copolymer of an alpha olefin and about 1 to about 30 wt% of alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3 to 8 carbons, based on the total weight of the acid copolymer composition, wherein the acid copolymer has a Melt Index of about 75 to about 600 g/10 min. The acid copolymer composition preferably comprises an additive selected from the group consisting of silane coupling agent, organic peroxide, and combinations thereof. In addition, an article comprising an interlayer formed of the polymeric film or sheet and an additional layer selected from the group consisting of glass, other polymeric interlayer sheets, polymeric film layers, and metal films or sheets. Examples of articles include safety windows and solar cells.

L'invention concerne un film ou une feuille polymérique comprenant une composition de copolymère acide, comprenant un copolymère acide constitué d'une α-oléfine et d'environ 1 à environ 30 % en poids d'acide alpha, beta-carboxylique éthyléniquement insaturé ayant 3 à 8 carbones, sur la base du poids total de la composition de copolymère acide, le copolymère acide ayant un indice de fusion d'environ 75 à environ 600 g/10 min. La composition de copolymère acide comprend de préférence un additif sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué d'un agent de couplage au silane, de peroxyde organique, et de combinaisons de ceux-ci. De plus, un article comprenant une couche intermédiaire formée du film ou de la feuille polymérique et d'une couche supplémentaire sélectionnée parmi le groupe constitué de verre, d'autres feuilles polymériques de couche intermédiaire, de couches de film polymérique, ou de feuilles ou films métalliques. Des exemples d'articles comprennent des fenêtres de sécurité et des cellules solaires.
