In order to provide more secure binding of physical media, activation and deactivation mechanisms for media binders are presented. As such, internal spine, clamp deactivation mechanisms for deactivating a spine clamp in a media binder are presented, the mechanism including: a tension sheet (208) configured to operate the spine clamp (206) in response to opening the media binder in a range of approximately 270 to 360 degrees (-), normally, greater than approximately 270-; a tear line disposed along the tension sheet and oriented along the spine clamp wherein when the tension sheet is torn at the tear line, the spine clamp is deactivated. In some embodiments, the mechanism further includes a cosmetic sheet (216) disposed between the tension sheet and a cover (212) of the media binder for providing a cover for the spine clamp such that when the tension sheet is torn, the spine clamp remains covered.

L'invention concerne des mécanismes d'activation et de désactivation de reliures de supports destinés à garantir une reliure plus sûre de supports physiques. L'invention concerne notamment des mécanismes de désactivation d'une attache de dos interne pour désactiver une attache de dos dans une reliure de supports. Ledit mécanisme comporte une feuille de tension conçue pour actionner l'attache de dos en réponse à une ouverture de la reliure de supports d'un angle d'environ 270 à 360°, généralement supérieur à environ 270°; et une ligne de déchirement disposée le long de la feuille de tension et orientée le long de l'attache de dos, l'attache de dos étant désactivée lorsque la feuille de tension est déchirée le long de la ligne de déchirement. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le mécanisme comporte également une feuille esthétique disposée entre la feuille de tension et une couverture de la reliure de supports afin de constituer une couverture pour l'attache de dos de telle manière que l'attache de dos reste couverte lorsque la feuille de tension est déchirée.
