A method for the preparation of electrostatographic toner comprising the steps of: a) dissolving a polymer material and a quaternary ammonium tetraphenylborate salt in an organic solvent to form an organic phase; b) dispersing the organic phase in an aqueous phase comprising a particulate stabilizer to form a dispersion and homogenizing the resultant dispersion; c) evaporating the organic solvent and recovering a resultant product; and d) washing and drying the resultant product.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de toner électrostatographique comprenant les étapes consistant à : a) dissoudre un matériau polymère et un sel tétraphénylborate d'ammonium quaternaire dans un solvant organique pour former une phase organique ; b) disperser la phase organique dans une phase aqueuse comprenant un stabilisateur de particules afin de former une dispersion et homogénéiser la dispersion résultante ; c) évaporer le solvant organique et récupérer un produit résultant ; et d) laver et sécher le produit résultant.
