This invention concerns a method for processing control messages from an aggregation of control messages meant to access encrypted content received as a flow by a multimedia unit. These messages comprise at least a discrimination parameter with a value that is different for any two consecutive messages from the flow as well as information to access encrypted content. This method comprises the reception steps for the current control message, reading of the discrimination parameter of the current control message, research into the memory, of the discrimination parameter for the message processed previously to the current message, of comparison of the discrimination parameter of the current message with the discrimination parameter of the previously processed message, and the blocking by a filter of the said current control message if the comparison step shows that the discrimination parameter of the current message is identical to the discrimination parameter previously processed. The method is characterized by the fact that the discrimination parameter is different for each message of a given subgroup of an ordered group of control messages, this subgroup containing at least three control messages and, at the most, all the control messages from among all the messages, so that, during the filtering step, the current message and the previously processed message can be non-consecutive in the ordered subgroup of messages.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de messages de contrôle d'un ensemble de messages de contrôle destiné à accéder à un contenu chiffré reçu sous la forme d'un flux par une unité multimédia. Ces messages comportent au moins un paramètre de discrimination ayant une valeur différente pour deux messages consécutifs dans le flux et des informations d'accès à un contenu chiffré. Le procédé comporte les étapes de réception d'un message de contrôle courant, de lecture du paramètre de discrimination du message de contrôle courant, de recherche dans une mémoire, du paramètre de discrimination du message traité précédemment au message courant, de comparaison du paramètre de discrimination du message courant avec le paramètre de discrimination du message traité précédemment, et de blocage par le filtre dudit message de contrôle courant si l'étape de comparaison indique que le paramètre de discrimination du message courant est identique au paramètre de discrimination du message traité précédemment. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que le paramètre de discrimination est unique et différent pour chaque message d'un sous-ensemble de l'ensemble ordonné des messages de contrôle, ce sous-ensemble contenant au moins trois messages de contrôle et au plus tous les messages de contrôle de l'ensemble de messages, de sorte que, lors de l'étape de filtrage, le message courant et le message traité précédemment peuvent être non consécutifs dans le sous-ensemble ordonné de messages.
