An apparatus (100) such as a television signal receiver employs an efficient and cost-effective signal processing architecture which enables, among other things, the reception and processing of both analog and digital signals from multiple signal sources, such as but not limited to, terrestrial and cable signal sources. According to an exemplary embodiment, the apparatus (100) includes a first tuner (10) operative to generate a first IF signal corresponding to a first RF signal. A first demodulator (50) is operative to generate a first demodulated signal corresponding to the first IF signal. A second tuner (20) is operative to generate a second IF signal corresponding to a second RF signal. A second demodulator (60) is operative to generate a second demodulated signal corresponding to the second IF signal. A third demodulator (90) is operative to generate a third demodulated signal corresponding to one of the first and second IF signals.

L'invention concerne un appareil (100) tel qu'un récepteur de signal télévisé qui utilise une architecture de traitement de signal efficace et économique permettant notamment la réception et le traitement de signaux analogiques et numériques en provenance de sources de signalisation multiples. Dans un exemple de réalisation, cet appareil (100) comprend un premier circuit d'accord (10) qui permet de générer un premier signal FI correspondant à un premier signal HF. Un premier démodulateur (50) permet de produire un premier signal démodulé correspondant au premier signal FI. Un second circuit d'accord (20) permet de produire un second signal FI correspondant à un second signal HF. Un second démodulateur (60) permet de produire un second signal démodulé correspondant au second signal FI. Un troisième démodulateur (90) permet de produire un troisième signal démodulé correspondant au premier ou au second signal FI.
