A multilayer body is disclosed which is excellent in adhesion between a formed body and a plating layer. The multilayer body is produced by forming a plating layer on the surface of a formed body which is obtained by bulk polymerizing a cyclic olefin monomer in the presence of an inorganic filler using a ruthenium catalyst. A method for producing a multilayer body is also disclosed wherein a plating layer is formed by nonelectrolytic plating on the surface of a formed body, which is obtained by bulk polymerizing a cyclic olefin monomer in the presence of an inorganic filler using a ruthenium catalyst, after chemically etching the surface of the formed body with a permanganate compound and then providing the surface with a plating catalyst.

L'invention concerne un corps multicouche présentant une bonne adhérence entre un corps façonné et une couche de plaquage. Ce corps multicouche est obtenu par formation d'une couche de plaquage sur la surface d'un corps façonné qui est formée par polymérisation en masse d'un monomère d'oléfine cyclique, en présence d'une charge inorganique, à l'aide d'un catalyseur au ruthénium. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'un corps multicouche, selon lequel une couche de plaquage est formée par plaquage non électrolytique de la surface d'un corps façonné qui est formée par polymérisation en masse d'un monomère d'oléfine cyclique en présence d'une charge inorganique, à l'aide d'un catalyseur au ruthénium, cela après attaque chimique de la surface du corps façonné avec un composé de permanganate et après avoir pourvu cette surface d'un catalyseur de plaquage.
