The invention relates to a system and method for presenting advertisements (12) to a user (10). A user network processing device (10) transmits at least one user request for an advertisement and presents advertisements served in response to the user request for an advertisement to the user. A content provider server (20) having a local ad delivery engine (24) with local ad campaign data (26) receives the user request for and advertisement and transmits an advertisement to the user in response to the user request for an advertisement. A central ad planning server (30) having a database (32) operable to store central ad campaign data, the central ad planning server periodically transmits at least a portion of the database to the content provider server to update the local ad campaign data.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à présenter des annonces publicitaires (12) à un utilisateur (10). Un dispositif de traitement de réseau d'utilisateurs (10) émet au moins une requête utilisateur concernant une annonce publicitaire et présente des annonces publicitaires à l'utilisateur en réponse à sa requête. Un serveur de fournisseur de contenu (20), possédant un moteur de fourniture locale d'annonces publicitaires (24) et des données locales de campagne publicitaire (26), reçoit la requête de l'utilisateur concernant une annonce publicitaire et émet une annonce publicitaire vers l'utilisateur en réponse à sa requête. Un serveur central de planification d'annonces publicitaires (30), comprenant une base de données (32) permettant de stocker des données centrales de campagne publicitaire, émet au moins une partie de la base de données vers le serveur du fournisseur de contenu afin de mettre à jour les données locales de campagne publicitaire.
