A cet effet, l'invention porte sur un dispositif (20) de traitement d'informations vérifiant l'intégrité d'un support d'enregistrement (10) présentant une première zone d'enregistrement des informations de gestion, une deuxième zone d'enregistrement d'informations de gestion cryptées, des sections de commande (24, 26) de lecture sur le support des informations de gestion non cryptées et cryptées et de commande du décryptage des d'informations de gestion cryptées lues, et une section (25) de comparaison jugeant si l'information de gestion lue est ou non dans une correspondance prédéterminée avec l'information de gestion décodée, et jugeant dans l'affirmative de la non falsification du support d'enregistrement
