(EN) A countershaft transmission (10) provides three forward speeds and three reverse speeds using an input shaft (12), an output shaft (14), an intermediate shaft (16), five rotating clutch assemblies (92, 94, 130, 136, 142) of the interleaved multiple plate and disc type, and eight gears (102, 110, 126, 122, 138, 144, 146, 132). The first speed clutch assembly (142) is mounted on the intermediate shaft (16), the second and third speed clutch assemblies (130, 136) are mounted on the output shaft (14), the remaining directional clutch assemblies (92, 94) are mounted on the input shaft (12), and the clutch assemblies are generally compactly grouped. Advantageously, no separate idler gear and associated shaft are required.
(FR) Une transmission à arbre de renvoi (10) permet d'obtenir trois vitesses avant et trois vitesses arrière en utilisant un arbre d'entrée (12), un arbre de sortie (14), un arbre intermédiaire (16), cinq assemblages rotatifs d'embrayage (92, 94, 130, 136, 142) du type à disques et à plateaux multiples entrelacés, et huit engrenages (102, 110, 126, 122, 138, 144, 146, 132). L'assemblage d'embrayage de la première vitesse (142) est monté sur l'arbre intermédiaire (16), les assemblages d'embrayage de la deuxième et troisième vitesses (130, 136) sont montés sur l'arbre de sortie (14), les assemblages d'embrayage directionnels restants (92, 94) sont montés sur l'arbre d'entrée (12), et les assemblages d'embrayage sont généralement groupés de manière compacte. Il est ainsi possible d'éliminer toute roue intermédiaire et arbre associé.
