(EN)Filter elements in a filter press are closed and made tight by the automatic adaptation and control of their closing force in correspondence to their opening force. The opening force, of variable magnitude, is generated by the pressure of the fluids introduced into the cavities of the filter elements. Signals corresponding to the pressures of all fluids (e.g., suspensions, washing fluids, air under pressure) introduced into the cavities of the filter elements, continuously measured by manometers (1, 2, 3, 4), are compared with a signal corresponding to the closing force to produce a reference signal, available at any time, which permits adjustment of the closing force. The reference signal is used by controlling apparatus which carries out the adaptation and adjustment of the closing force.
(FR)Le dispositif propose pour fermer et rendre etanches les elements filtrants d"un filtre presse permet d"adapter automatiquement et de regler la force de fermeture necessaire en fonction de la force d"ouverture. Les forces d"ouverture sont creees par mise sous pression des fluides utilises dans le processus a l"interieur des cavites de l"element filtrant, et sont variables en grandeur. Les pressions de tous les fluides utilises dans le processus (suspensions, fluide de lavage, air sous-pression, etc.) dans les cavites de l"element filtrant sont continuellement mesurees par des manometres (1, 2, 3, 4), transformees en signal de mesure et evaluees en force et combinees a la force de fermeture mesuree et transformee en signal de mesure de facon telle qu"il existe a tout moment un signal de reference permettant d"ajuster la force de fermeture (ou la pression exercee sur la surface de l"element d"etancheite). Ce signal de reference commande un dispositif de reglage qui permet d"executer l"adaptation et le reglage de la force de fermeture.
