본 발명의 다양한 실시예들에 따른, 저장 장치를 초기화하는 방법은, 상기 저장 장치의 디스크 파티션 크기 및 상기 저장 장치에 기록된 파일 시스템 이미지의 크기를 비교하는 동작 및 상기 디스크 파티션 크기가 상기 파일 시스템 이미지의 크기 보다 크다면, 상기 파일 시스템 이미지를 동적으로 재구성하는 동작을 포함하고, 상기 파일 시스템 이미지는, 메타 데이터 블록들을 포함하는 메타 데이터 영역 및 파일 데이터 블록들을 포함하는 데이터 블록 영역을 포함하고, 상기 데이터 블록 영역은 데이터가 기록되지 않은 파일 데이터 블록들만을 포함하는 제 1 프리 블록 영역 및 데이터가 기록된 파일 데이터 블록을 적어도 하나 포함하는 파일 데이터 영역을 순차적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다. 이 밖에 다양한 실시예들이 가능하다.
