One embodiment of the present invention relates to an SiOIC fiber comprising 30-50 wt% of silicon (Si), 5-15 wt% of oxygen (O), 3-15 wt% of iodine (I) and 20-50 wt% of carbon (C); a metal doped SiOIC fiber comprising 3-30 wt% of silicon (Si), 3-40 wt% of oxygen (O), 5-50 wt% of iodine (I), 5-40 wt% of carbon (C) and 5-50 wt% of metals, a heating element for absorbing microwaves comprising the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the present invention greatly improves an efficiency of heating corresponding to microwaves, and at the same time prevents or minimizes oxidation by oxygen to greatly improve durability of the heating elements. 본 발명의 일 실시예는 실리콘(Si) 30~50 중량%, 산소(O) 5~15 중량%, 아이오다인(I) 3~15 중량% 및 탄소(C) 20~50 중량%를 포함하는 SiOIC 섬유, 실리콘(Si) 3~30 중량%, 산소(O) 3~40 중량%, 아이오다인(I) 5~50 중량%, 탄소(C) 5~40 중량% 및 금속 5~50 중량%를 포함하는 금속 도핑 SiOIC 섬유, 이를 포함하는 마이크로파 흡수 및 발열체, 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 마이크로파 대응 발열 효율을 현저하게 높일 수 있으며, 동시에 산소에 의한 산화 반응을 방지 또는 최소화하여 발열체의 내구성을 현저하게 향상시킬 수 있다.
