A gas mixt. separator using pressure modulation, comprises (A) a second outlet connected to each cylinder to desorb gas between the piston and the adsorbent of each cylinder, (B) a second inlet for each cylinder connected to its lower chamber, (C) a passage connecting the second outlet of one cylinder to the second inlet of another cylinder to transfer desorbed gas, (D) means to reciprocate the pistons out of phase, so that during the forward stroke of the piston to the adsorbent in the cylinder desorbed gas in the upper chamber of cylinder passes through its outlet. The gas mixt. separator can be used in a fuel power plant.
