SOLUTION: In the 2,2'-bis(2-hydroxyethoxy)-1,1'-binaphthalene powder according to the embodiment, a frequency distribution obtained by a volume-based dry process grain size distribution measurement has a first peak having a peak in a range of a grain diameter of 10 to 100 μm, and a second peak having a peak in a range of a grain diameter of 150 to 500 μm.

【解決手段】実施形態に係る2,2’−ビス(2−ヒドロキシエトキシ)−1,1’−ビナフタレン粉体は、体積基準の乾式粒度分布測定により得られる頻度分布が、粒子径10〜100μmの範囲にピークを持つ第一山と、粒子径150〜500μmの範囲にピークを持つ第二山とを有するものである。
