PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the needs of making a drive mechanism learn again during replacing and repairing a robot drive.

SOLUTION: Operation and setting parameters of a robot drive at a carrying-in site are stored in a storage device installed in a drive device or a the vicinity of the drive device to be easily detachable, prescribed data related to an arm design and a system layout including a learning station is held in association with the robot drive, and an introduction operation time, such as installation and replacement can be minimized because a program for the storage device is unnecessary again. Such a detachable storage device having the form of a stationary storage device or a master key is realized by a Dallas Key or E Prom or the like, and fixed to or near the robot body. Then, when the original key is fixed to a new robot or near the robot during replacing the robot drive, the robot drive inherits all parameters held by the initial robot drive.

【課題】ロボットドライブを交換・修理する際、ドライブ機構に再度学習させることを不要とする。
【解決手段】搬入現場でのロボットドライブの操作及び設定パラメータが、該ドライブ装置若しくはその近傍に設置され、容易に着脱可能な記憶装置に記憶され、学習ステーションを含むアームデザインやシステムレイアウトに関連する所定のデータがロボットドライブに関連して保持され、記憶装置の再度のプログラムが不要となるため、インストールや交換という導入作業時間が最小で済む。静止記憶装置またはマスターキーの形態をとる斯かる着脱可能な記憶装置は、ダラスキー、イープロム等で具体化され、ロボット本体若しくはその近傍に固定される。従ってロボットドライブを交換する際にもとのキーを新しいロボット若しくはその近傍に固定すると、斯かるロボットドライブは当初のロボットドライブの保有パラメータを全て承継する。
