PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device capable of detecting a tone squelch signal without fail in a short period of time.

SOLUTION: A radio device detects a tone squelch signal in a reception base band signal, and includes a frequency shift unit (orthogonal demodulation unit 503) that shifts the reception base band signal to the direction of a negative frequency by the preset frequency of the tone squelch signal, LPFs 504-1 and 504-2 that remove unnecessary frequency components from the output of the frequency shift unit, and a determination unit 510 that determines the presence/absence of the tone squelch signal based on the output from the LPFs 504-1 and 504-2.

【課題】 トーンスケルチ信号を短時間で確実に検出する無線機を提供する。
【解決手段】 受信ベースバンド信号に含まれるトーンスケルチ信号を検出する無線機であって、前記受信ベースバンド信号を、予め設定されたトーンスケルチ信号の周波数分だけ負の周波数方向にシフトする周波数シフト部(直交復調部503)と、前記周波数シフト部の出力から不要周波数成分を除去するLPF504-1,504-2と、前記LPF504-1,504-2の出力に基づいてトーンスケルチ信号の有無を判定する判定部510とを備える。
