(EN) The present invention provides a method for selecting a spacer column in a liquid crystal panel. The method comprises: preparing a plurality of test samples, wherein a spacer column of each of the test samples is arranged on a surface of a glass substrate; sequentially applying different preset pressures to the plurality of test samples, and outputting the compression quantity of the spacer columnof the test sample with the corresponding pressure; according to the compression quantity of the spacer column, calculating the height of the compressed spacer column; and comparing the height with the standard distance between the upper and lower substrates of the liquid crystal panel, and preferably selecting the spacer column satisfying the design specification of the liquid crystal panel. According to the method provided by the present invention, under different pressures, the volume ration of the liquid crystal to the spacer column is uniform, the space inside the liquid crystal cell isfilled, the liquid crystal cannot be peeled off from the surface of the glass substrate, and the formation of vacuum bubbles is avoided, so that the yield of the liquid crystal panels can be improved.
