The invention relates to the technical field of drill chucks, in particular to a switching device, a drill chuck and a two-way rotation method of the drill chuck. The switching device comprises a switching sleeve and an engaging and disengaging mechanism. The engaging and disengaging mechanism comprises a first transmission part and a second transmission part. The first transmission part is used for being connected with a front body of the drill chuck. The second transmission part is used for being connected with a rear body of the drill chuck. By engaging or disengaging the first transmissionpart and the second transmission part, the front body and the rear body can be accordingly engaged or disengaged. The first transmission part and the second transmission part can be engaged or disengaged by the switching sleeve through rotation of the switching sleeve itself. By means of the switching device, the drill chuck and the two-way rotation method of the drill chuck, a drilling tool canbe driven to work in two ways, the drilling tool can be prevented from loosing during idling through the switching sleeve, the operation action and method for replacing the drilling tool are as easy and convenient as those of hand-tightened drill chucks, the defects that the operation method of self-tightened drill chucks is more complex than that of the hand-tightened drill chucks and users do not like to use the method are overcome, and the user experience is good.
