The application discloses an imaging device and electronic equipment. The imaging device comprises a microlens array structure and a plurality of photosensitive pixels, wherein the microlens array structure covers a plurality of photosensitive pixel sets, each of the photosensitive pixel sets comprises a plurality of photosensitive pixels, and the plurality of photosensitive pixels in each of thephotosensitive pixel sets receive light incident through the microlens array structure to output a plurality of element images. The imaging device further comprises a processor, configured to: merge the plurality of element images to obtain a merged image; calculate depth information of the scene according to the at least two element images; and perform predetermined processing on the merged imageaccording to the depth information. The imaging device provided by the embodiment of the application can capture a merged image with a high resolution without providing a plurality of conventional cameras, and the overall size of the imaging device is small, which is advantageous for integration on an electronic device having a high thickness requirement. Moreover, the cost of the imaging deviceis also low to further reduce the manufacturing cost of the electronic equipment progressively.
