Claims

1. A spray tank composition comprising daminozide and a pH buffer, wherein the pH of the composition is higher than 6, preferably about 6.5 or more, and preferably lower than 9.
  2. The composition according to claim 1 wherein the pH is between 6.5 and 8.
  3. The composition according to any of claims 1 and 2, wherein the ratio of buffer salt to daminozide is 1:1 to 1:5, wherein the ratio is defined as the weight of buffer salt to the weight of daminozide.
  4. The composition according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein the ratio of buffer salt to daminozide is 1:1.2 to 1:3.
  5. The composition according to any of claims 1-4, wherein the pH buffer comprises a weak base and its conjugate acid, preferably selected from the group of phosphates, carbonates, borates or a mixture thereof, more preferably a potassium or sodium salt.
  6. The composition according to claim 5, wherein the pH buffer is selected from a sodium, potassium or ammonium carbonate.
  7. The spray tank composition according to any of claims 1 - 6, wherein the concentration of daminozide is 1 - 6 g/L.
  8. The spray tank composition according to any of claims 1-7, wherein the concentration of UDMH after 24 hours is about 400 ppb or less, more preferably 100 ppb or even more preferably about 50 ppb or less.
  9. The spray tank composition according to any of claims 1 - 8, wherein the increase in UDMH concentration after 24 hours is about 100 ppb or less, preferably 50 ppb or less, or more preferably 20 ppb or less.
  10. A concentrate composition comprising daminozide and a pH buffer, the composition being suitable to be diluted in a spray tank to create spray tank composition according to any one of claims 1 to 7, which is suitable for spraying plants.
  11. The concentrate composition according to claim 10, wherein the composition is in solid form such as granules, powders, or in liquid form such as liquid concentrate, oil dispersion, ionic liquids.
  12. The concentrate composition according to any of claims 10 - 11, wherein the concentrate is in solid form, and comprises 10 - 60 wt% daminozide, 10-40 wt% buffer, and 10-50% dissolvable carrier.
  13. A method of treating plants, wherein a spray tank composition according to any one of claims 1 - 9 is prepared, preferably by dilution of a concentrate composition according to any one of claims 10 - 12, and wherein this spray tank composition is sprayed on plants within 48 hours, preferably within 24 hr and more preferably within 10 hr after preparation.
  14. A kit-of-parts comprising daminozide and pH buffer salt, wherein the pH buffer salt form a pH buffer upon dilution of a pH higher than 6, preferably higher than 6.5, and preferably lower than 8, preferably wherein the weight ratio of pH buffer salt to daminozide is about 1:1 to about 1:5, more preferably about 1:1.2 to about 1:3.
  15. The concentrate composition or kit-of-parts according to any of claims 10 - 12 or 14, wherein the concentrate composition or kit-of-parts is provided in a plastic container, preferably wherein the plastic dissolves or degrades upon contact with water.
