The invention pertains to medicine, specifically to methods of improving the health of a human patient. The method in essence involves linear and rotary massage in the projection zones of the body's organs and other parts in a defined sequence, namely: spine, heart, upper extremities, head, anterior neck surface, mammary glands, anterior surface of the lungs, solar plexus, oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, duodenum, spleen, liver and gall bladder, intestines, rectum, anus, on the anterior projection of the kidney, ureter, sexual organs, hip joints, lumbosacral region, gluteal muscles, lower extremities. To act on the heart, other areas are massaged, namely: jugular vein, left clavicular vein, the region of the left shoulder joint, left shoulder blade region and the region of 6-8 ribs of the left mid-clavicular line. This is completed by simultaneous rotary massage in opposite directions of the anterior and posterior projections of the heart, each massage movement being finished by clenching the hand into a fist, withdrawing it, and opening it out 10-12 cm from the body surface, the same procedure being repeated above the body surface, and finished by massage of the reflex zones of the foot.

The invention relates to the production of catalyzers for converting SO2 into SO3 using worked-out vanadium catalyzers. The method consists of leaching active components in pulp, their separation from a solid sediment by filtration, the treatment of the filtrate and the sediment, its mixing with the active components of the filtrate the introduction of components of a fresh contact mass, and drying and forming. The aim is to increase the utilisation of the worked-out catalyzer while maintaining its high performance characteristics . To this end the sediment is treated after filtration with an alkali solution with a mole ratio SiO2(K2O+Na2O)-V2O5 of 2.5 to 29.8, with a subsequent co-precipitation of SiO2 and V2O5 with the help of the filtrate or sulphuric acid. V2O5 can be precipitated from the filtrate with the help of the alkali and then used for mixing with the active components. In the degree of extraction of SiO2 is equal to 1.0, the worked-out vanadium catalyzer can be used without being crushed.

The present invention pertains to the field of pump manufacturing and more precisely relates to hydraulic diaphragm pumps principally used for pumping a liquid from deep bore-holes. This invention can be used in the mining industry, in agriculture as well as in other industrial branches related to the exploitation of natural resources. The purpose of this invention is to improve the reliability as well as to simplify the assembling and disassembling process of a pump in a bore hole. To this end, the hydraulic drive of the pump and the pumping of the liquid are carried out through a single duct. This invention essentially relates to a hydraulic diaphragm pump comprising a hydraulic pulse generator (1) and a submerged part (3) which are connected by a duct (4). The submerged part (3) of the pump is divided into a discharge chamber (8), an intermediate chamber (9) and a suction chamber (13) which are serially connected together as well as to the surrounding medium through check valves (10, 12, 15). Resilient diaphragms (11, 14) are mounted between the discharge chamber and the suction chamber as well as between the intermediate chamber and the surrounding medium for transmitting the pressure to said chambers. The hydraulic pulse generator is further capable of periodically interrupting the tightness of the discharge chamber.

Previously, multiple versions of web sites such as web-based software applications have had to be created in different languages such as French, German and English, or with different content/format for users with different preferences. This is complex, time consuming, expensive and can lead to errors when the different version are created. The present invention avoids the need for different versions of web sites to be created by dynamically creating web pages in a required language or format or to suit particular user preference. User cultural preferences are automatically detected, for example, by analysing locale values in URLs or cookies sent from the user's web browser or by analysing the domain name of the user's client computer. This preference information is used to select one of a plurality of resource files using a selection algorithm. One resource file is provided for each preference type that it is desired to support and contains a plurality of strings of text that are required for display in the web site. Once a resource file has been selected this is used to dynamically create a web page which is then sent to the client computer. Manual input of preference information by the user is also possible.

A method of recovering precious metal values from refractory sulfide ores is provided. The method includes the steps of separating clays and fines from a crushed refractory sulfide ore (12, 24), forming a heap from the refractory sulfide ore (18), bioleaching the heap to thereby oxidize iron sulfides contained therein (18), and hydrometallurgically treating the bioleached ore to recover the precious metal values. If sufficient quantity of precious metal values are contained in the separated clays and fines, these materials can be further processed to recover the precious metal values contained therein.

The present invention pertains to the field of cryogenics and more precisely relates to low-temperature air rectification techniques for condensing and separating inert gases, mainly xenon. This method for producing a xenon concentrate is carried out in air separation devices where the air is separated in a lower column and in an upper column. A flow of gaseous nitrogen is supplied from the lower column to a main condenser unit and the condensed flow of liquid nitrogen is further fed from the main condenser unit to the lower column. A main flow of liquid oxygen is derived from the upper column and supplied to the main condenser unit in order to be partially vaporised. A portion of the main flow of liquid oxygen is extracted from the main condenser unit in the shape of a circulating liquid-oxygen flow, a portion of this circulating liquid-oxygen flow being then supplied to a vaporiser-condenser where it is partially vaporised. It is thus possible to obtain a flow of purified gaseous oxygen as well as an oxygen flow for discharging the explosive impurities out of the air separation device. The xenon concentrate is extracted from the oxygen flow used for discharging the explosive impurities out of the air separation device, wherein said extraction is preferably carried out according to an adsorption method.

The present invention is based on the use of 1) two polyclonal IgGs against two Cry toxins, 2) Cry toxin receptors isolated from lepidopteran larvae and 3) manual striping methods to manufacture immunochromatographic strips that are useful in detecting a variety of analytes. Immunochromatographic strips, which facilitate rapid detection of analytes are expensive if made using monoclonal antibodies and cannot be affordable for Indian farmers and extension workers. The main objective of the current method was to simplify the development of the immunochromatographic detection method for Cry (Bt) toxin detection using affinity purified polyclonal antibodies specific to the analyte and also to provide a robust and easy method suitable for manufacture of 'Cry1Ac/Cry1Ab/Cry2Aa/Cry2Ab toxin' detection strips at affordable cost, under Indian conditions. Anti-Bt (anti-Cry1 Ac or anti-Cry2Aa/Ab or both) antibody or Cry receptor proteins are immobilized on a cellulose nitrate membrane by manual striping. The membrane is blocked using casein or BSA and preservatives. Anti-Bt (anti-Cry1 Ac or anti-Cry2Aa/Ab or both) antibody is labeled with gold and adsorbed on glass-fibre membrane which is placed at the bottom the membrane so as to overlap 2mm. Specificity and accuracy of the assay are greatly enhanced due to the use of antigen-affinity and Protein-A affinity purified polyclonal IgG raised in two different animals (goat and rabbit). The schematic diagram of the Cry toxin detection lateral flow strip assembly is shown in a diagram appended herewith. The strips thus made represent rapid, sensitive devices and methods for detecting the presence of Cry1Ac/Cry1Ab/Cry2Aa/Cry2Ab and crystal toxins either from transgenic plants or in Bt-fermented products. The methods and devices have high sensitivity to detect either single or two Cry toxins simultaneously on a single strip. Use of the present methods provide an assay system which involve a minimal number of steps, and yield reliable results even when used by untrained persons.
