Distalization of the upper arch can be accomplished by applying an elastic chain or closed coil spring from the anterior hooks of the trans-palatal arch to the posterior hooks of the palatal plate.

The control circuitry may use sensors to make sensor measurements during parking events. The control circuitry may also gather information on wireless power transfer efficiency. Historical vehicle-to-wireless-power-transmitter alignment information may be updated based on the sensor measurements and corresponding wireless power transfer efficiency measurements and may be used to park the vehicle in an optimal location during subsequent parking events. Vehicle parking position may be intentionally varied over a series of parking events to gather additional alignment information.

The supporting structure may be coupled to the membrane and include a support structure that mates with the concave region of the membrane when the speaker is subjected to a hydrostatic load. When the speaker is not subjected to a hydrostatic load, the support structure may contact the concave region. In this way, the membrane may be resistant to tearing or rupture due to hydrostatic load.

A display may have an array of pixels. The pixels may contain light-emitting diodes. When it is desired to use the display to operate as a light sensor, some of the light-emitting diodes may be forward biased to emit light while some of the light-emitting diodes are reversed biased to detect the emitted light after the emitted light has reflected from an external object. During light sensing operations, one or more areas of the display may be temporarily deactivated so that the light-sensing pixels may measure the reflected light. Vertical lines may serve both as data loading lines and as current sensing lines. Currents may be sensed during drive transistor current compensation and during light sensing. The vertical lines may load signals into the pixels that forward bias the light-emitting diodes to emit light when it is desired to display images for a user.

The method further includes coupling the first strain gauge and the second strain gauge to a plate of the touch input device and electrically connecting the first strain gauge and the second strain gauge such that a differential signal is obtained from the first strain gauge and the second strain gauge when a load is applied on the plate of the touch input device.

Electrical components may be mounted on printed circuits and housed within cavities in the display housing. The electrical components may include light-emitting diodes for a display. Heat from the electrical components may be dissipated in the metal layer.
