WO/2008/059473 FOB HAVING A CLIP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF||WO||22.05.2008|
||PCT/IL2006/001452||ON TRACK INNOVATIONS LTD.||BASHAN, Oded|
A fob (10) such as a key fob has a casing (11) and a resilient clip (12) abutting the casing at a first end of the clip and overhanging the casing to form a substantially J-shaped clip. The casing may be substantially rectangular in shape and may includes a recess for accommodating therein an insert such as a electronic circuit (13) and a cover mounted (16) within the recess so as to overlay the electronic circuit and form a peripheral recess (18) between a rim (19) of the casing and a peripheral edge of the cover that may be hermetically sealed to form a sealed unit. During manufacture, the fob is injection molded wherein the resilient clip abuts the casing at a first end of the clip while lying outside a boundary of the casing. Local heat is then applied to the clip and the clip is bent so that it overhangs the casing.
WO/2008/038254 VOUCHER BASED LOTTERY SYSTEM AND METHOD||WO||03.04.2008|
||PCT/IB2007/053978||JAGGA, Anthony Joseph||JAGGA, Anthony Joseph|
A voucher based lottery system and method to allow a participant to partake in a lottery are provided. A voucher is issued to a participant, the voucher having a voucher identifier and carrying monetary value data representing a monetary value. The voucher and participant are validated by receiving from the participant the voucher identifier and validation data to identify the participant and comparing the voucher identifier against a predefined profile for the voucher. A user account is credited to reflect the monetary value associated with the voucher if the voucher is validated. At least one set of possible winning numbers is received from the participant, which defines a lottery ticket having a playing monetary value. This playing monetary value is compared to the monetary value in the user account and if there are sufficient funds, the lottery ticket is submitted to a lottery authority. The system now determines whether the lottery ticket is a winning lottery ticket and determines the lottery winnings.

The arrangement of the table (10) is such that the screen (30) of the display device is physically separated from the housing of the monitoring station, and the monitoring zone (28) and the screen (30) are closely spaced on the tabletop (12) adjacent the rack (22), within reach and in view of the operator (18). The gaming table is suitable for use in casinos and gaming rooms.
WO/2007/135658 CHIP CARD HAVING A COIL ANTENNA WITH REDUCED FOOTPRINT||WO||29.11.2007|
||PCT/IL2006/001453||ON TRACK INNOVATIONS LTD.||BASHAN, Oded|
A data transaction card (4) having a substrate (25) supporting a chip module (20) coupled to opposite ends of a coil antenna (11) wound so as to form a substantially integral number of main loops (21) and having a supplementary loop (22) having an active area that is different from an active area of the main loops. In one embodiment, the data transaction card has a substantially rectangular substrate having major (26) and minor (27) edges, which supports a substantially rectangular coil antenna having a major dimension (28) that is substantially equal to a dimension of the major edge of the substrate. The coil antenna is positioned relative to the substrate so that a footprint of the coil antenna does not overlap an area (13) of the substrate that is reserved for embossing data (24) therein.
WO/2007/133839 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NON-INVASIVELY REMOVING HEAT FROM SUBCUTANEOUS LIPID-RICH CELLS INCLUDING A COOLANT HAVING A PHASE TRANSITION TEMPERATURE||WO||22.11.2007|
||PCT/US2007/064016||ZELTIQ AESTHETICS, INC.||LEVINSON, Mitchell|
Cooling devices, such as a thermally conductive device, systems, and methods for removing heat from subcutaneous lipid-rich cells, and more particularly to a coolant in a flexible membrane wherein the coolant preferably has a phase transition temperature less than or approximately equal to about 0°C. The thermally conductive device may have compartments with varying phase transition temperatures to provide differential cooling to a treatment region. Alternatively, the thermally conductive device has a stratification of layers with varying phase transition temperatures to provide an increasing or decreasing temperature profile. The thermally conductive device may further have an anatomically conformal shape. The thermally conductive device, for example, can be triangular shaped for an abdomen region, oval shaped for a hip region, figure eight shaped for a buttocks region, or rectangular shaped for a thigh region.
WO/2007/079898 METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING AND ROLLING WITH AN INCREASED CASTING RATE AND SUBSEQUENT HOT-ROLLING OF RELATIVELY THIN METAL STRANDS, ESPECIALLY STEEL STRANDS, AND CONTINUOUS CASTING AND ROLLING DEVICE||WO||19.07.2007|
||PCT/EP2006/012036||SMS DEMAG AG||SEIDEL, Jürgen|
The invention relates to a method for continuous casting and rolling with a high casting rate and subsequent hot-rolling of relatively thin metal strands, especially steel strands (1), the target temperatures (6) of the hot strip (2) being pre-defined. Said method enables temperature losses on the hot strip (2) to be reduced by increasing the temperatures of the work rolls (4) with a pre-determined rate of increase starting from a low initial temperature (5), and by adjusting the temperature (15) of the strip to a target roll temperature (6) of the hot strip (2) and/or by regulating or controlling the intensity of the roll cooling (18).
WO/2007/081299 TRICYCLIC INDENO-PYRROLE DERIVATIVES AS SEROTONIN RECEPTOR MODULATORS||WO||19.07.2007|
||PCT/US2005/026415||ATHERSYS, INC.||BENNANI, Youssef, L.|
The present invention generally relates to a series of compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds, and to use of the compounds and compositions as therapeutic agents. More specifically, compounds of the present invention are tricyclic indeno-pyrrole compounds. These compounds are serotonin receptor (5-HT) ligands and are useful for treating diseases, disorders, and conditions wherein modulation of the activity of serotonin receptors (5-HT) is desired (e.g. anxiety, depression and obesity).
WO/2007/068359 METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING A ROLLING PROCESS||WO||21.06.2007|
||PCT/EP2006/011486||SMS DEMAG AG||PAWELSKI, Hartmut|
The invention relates to a method of controlling a rolling process, in which a metal strip is rolled flat by means of at least one roll. It is known from the prior art that the relative position of a 'neutral point' is a measure of the current stability of a rolling process. Traditional methods of calculating the position of the neutral point represent the actual properties of metal, although only rather imprecisely, and are therefore suitable only to a limited extent for predicting the stability of a rolling process. In order to be able to more effectively control a rolling process for rolling a metal strip with regard to the actual behaviour of the metal strip, a novel method of calculating the relative position of the neutral point is proposed according to the invention, in which method in particular the plane of the yield stress ke and the hydrostatic pressure pNH at the neutral point are entered.

The core (14) incorporates an insert (26) comprising a contactless electronic chip identification device (27) embedded in the first injection in the central portion (24) and held at its periphery by projections or fingers that form part of the injection mould and define openings (36) in the core. The body of the token comprises a covering layer obtained by a second injection of plastic around the peripheral portion (31) of the core (14) in order with the core to form the entire edge surface and the peripheral annular part of the body of the token. A decorated label is affixed to each face of the token. The token can be used as a gaming token or gambling chip.
