CLAIMS

1) A manufacturing machine (8) for the production of disposable cartridges (1) for electronic cigarettes; each disposable cartridge (1) comprises a tubular casing (2), which contains a quantity (5) of tobacco overlapped by a pad (6) of filtering material and a sealing ring (7), which is applied and welded to the tubular casing (2) ; the manufacturing machine (8) comprises:

a first manufacturing drum (9), which is mounted rotating in a stepwise manner around a first vertical rotation axis (10) and supports a plurality of first groups (11) of first seats (12), each adapted to house a corresponding tubular casing (2) ;

a second manufacturing drum (13), which is mounted rotating in a stepwise manner around a second vertical rotation axis (14) and supports a plurality of second groups (15) of second seats (16), each adapted to house a corresponding tubular casing (2 ) ;

an input unit (17), which feeds the tubular casings (2) into all the first seats (12) of a first group (11) that is standing still in a first feeding station (SI) ;

at least one filling unit (18), which feeds the quantities (5) of tobacco into the tubular casings (2) carried by the first seats (12) of a first group (11) that is standing still in a filling station (S2) ; and

a transfer unit (20) which simultaneously transfers all the tubular casings (2) from all the first seats (12) of a first group (11) that is standing still in a transfer station (S4) to the corresponding second seats (16) of a second group (15) that is standing still in the transfer station (S4) ;

the manufacturing machine (8) is characterized in that:

each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16) comprises a plurality of seats (12, 16), which are aligned along at least two lines, which are parallel to one another; and

a number of filling units (18) is provided equal to the number of lines of each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16), so that each filling unit (18) feeds the quantities (5) of tobacco into the tubular casings (2) carried solely by all the first seats (12) of the same line of a first group (11) that is standing still in the filling station (S2) .

2) The manufacturing machine (8) according to claim 1, wherein each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16) comprises a plurality of seats (12, 16) that aligned along three lines, which are parallel to one another.

3) The manufacturing machine (8) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein, in each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16), each line has the same number of seats (12, 16) .

4) The manufacturing machine (8) according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein, in each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16), the seats (12, 16) are aligned along three straight lines, which are parallel to one another.

5) The manufacturing machine (8) according to one of the claims from 1 to 4 and comprising a first feeding unit (19), which feeds the tabs (6) of filtering material into the tubular casings (2) carried by all the first seats (12) of a first group (11) that is standing still in a second feeding station (S3) .

6) The manufacturing machine (8) according to one of the claims from 1 to 5 and comprising a second feeding unit (21), which feeds the sealing rings (7) into the tubular casings (2) carried by all the second seats (16) of a second group (15) that is standing still in a third feeding station (S5) .

7) The manufacturing machine (8) according to one of the claims from 1 to 6 and comprising at least one welding unit

(22), which welds the sealing rings (7) to the corresponding tubular casings (2) carried by the second seats (16) of a second group (15) that is standing still in a welding station (S6) .

8) The manufacturing machine (8) according to claim 7 and comprising a number of welding units (22) that is equal to the number of lines of each group (11, 15) of seats (12, 16), so that each welding unit (22) welds the sealing rings (7) to the corresponding tubular casings (2) carried solely by all the second seats (16) of a same line of a second group (15) that is standing still in the welding station (S6) .

9) The manufacturing machine (8) according to one of the claims from 1 to 8 and comprising an extraction unit (23), which simultaneously extracts all the tubular casings (2) out of all the second seats (16) of a second group (15) that is standing still in an output station (S7) .
