Abstract:
This electronically controlled V-belt continuously variable transmission is provided with: a shift mechanism (75a) that includes a cam member (87) having a cam face (87a) and an outer surface (87b), being the rear side of the cam face (87a), which approach a fixed sheave (73) when moving away from the axis (Xis) of a drive shaft (32) in the centrifugal direction, wherein the shift mechanism (75a) drives a centrifugal weight (93) by a centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the drive shaft (32), and moves a movable sheave (74) in the axial direction; a recessed face (94) that is formed in the outer surface (87b) of the cam member (87) and is recessed toward the vehicle width direction outer side; and a fitting part (98) that is formed in a transmission case (62, 64) and, while protruding toward the recessed face (94) positioned at the vehicle width direction outer side, supports an oil seal member (97) encircling the drive shaft (32) around the axis (Xis) of the drive shaft (32). As a result, the size of the electronically controlled V-belt continuously variable transmission can be reduced as much as possible.
