CLAI MS

Claim 1 : Lenticular label (2) for attachment to a surface of a medical device (1 ) to be used in a pre-set orientation (ae, af, ag), having a first face with a lens structure and a second face including a lenticular graphic resulting from a composition of a plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g), the lenticular graphic being aligned with the lens structure so that a different one of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) is visible by changing a viewing angle (aa, ab, ac, ad, ae, af, ag) from which the lenticular graphic is viewed with respect to the first face;

characterized in that

the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) comprises a compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g); and

the lens structure is arranged such that the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g) is visible by a user of the medical device (1 ) when the lenticular label (2) is attached to the medical device (1 ) and the medical device (1 ) is in the pre-set orientation.

Claim 2: The lenticular label (2) of claim 1 , wherein at least one image of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d), other than the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g), shows a direction of adjustment to bring the medical device (1 ) in the preset orientation.

Claim 3: The lenticular label (2) of claim 1 or 2, wherein at least one image of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d), other than the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g), shows an indication of the extent to which the viewing angle (aa, ab, ac, ad) needs to be adjusted in order to bring the medical device (1 ) to the pre-set orientation.

Claim 4: The lenticular label (2) of claim 3, wherein images of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) show a sequence of adjustment steps in order to bring the medical device (1 ) to the pre-set orientation.

Claim 5: The lenticular label (2) of any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein

when the viewing angle (aa, ab, ac, ad) is larger than a given threshold angle, the lenticular label (2) is configured to show to the user (100) of the medical device (1 ) at least one image of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) other than the compliance image; and

when the viewing angle (ae, af, ag) is equal to, or smaller than, the given threshold angle, the lenticular label (2) is configured to show the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g) to the user (100) of the medical device (1 ).

Claim 6: The lenticular label (2) of claim 5, configured so that the given threshold angle is comprised in a range of about 130° to about 90°, wherein the threshold angle preferably is about 130°, about 120°, about 1 10°, about 100° or about 90°.

Claim 7: Medical device (1 ) to be used in a pre-set orientation, comprising a lenticular label (2) having a first face with a lens structure and a second face including a lenticular graphic resulting from a composition of a plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g), the images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) being aligned with the lens structure so that a different one of the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) is visible by changing a viewing angle (aa, ab, ac, ad, ae, af, ag) from which the lenticular graphic is viewed with respect to the first face;

characterized in that

the plurality of images (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g) comprises a compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g); and

the lens structure is arranged such that:

when the medical device (1 ) is in the pre-set orientation, the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g) is visible by a user (100) of the medical device (1 ); and

otherwise, an image (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) other than the compliance image (2e, 2f, 2g) is visible.

Claim 8: The medical device (1 ) of claim 7, wherein the lenticular label (2) is integral with the medical device (1 ) or affixed to an external or to an internal surface of the medical device (1 ).

Claim 9: The medical device (1 ) of claim 7 or 8, wherein the lenticular label (2) is visibly embedded into a component of the medical device (1 ).

Claim 10:The medical device (1 ) of one of claims 7 to 9, wherein the medical device (1 ) is a dosing and/or an injection device and the lenticular label (2) is configured to signal whether the medical device (1 ) is in a correct dosing orientation or not.

Claim 1 1 :The medical device (1 ) of claim 10, wherein the lenticular label (2) is made integral with a surface of a dosing activator component (3), with a surface of an injection component (4) of the medical device (1 ) engageable to the dosing activator component (3), or with an assembly of the dosing activator component (3) and the injection component (4).

Claim 12: Use of the lenticular label (2) according to one of the claims 1 to 6 for visually indicating, or signalling, to a user (100) an orientation of a medical device (1 ) with which the lenticular label (2) is made integral.
