Abstract:
The present invention is a method for manufacturing an electrode material containing Cu, Cr, a heat-resistant element, and a low-melting metal. In the present invention, Cr powder and a powdered heat-resistant element are mixed in a weight ratio such that the amount of Cr is greater than the amount of the heat-resistant element. A powder mixture of the powdered heat-resistant element and the Cr powder is fired. A MoCr solid solution containing a solid solution in which the heat-resistant element and Cr are in a state of solid solution, obtained by firing, is pulverized and classified. The classified MoCr solid solution powder, Cu powder, and low-melting metal powder are mixed and sintered at a temperature of 1010°C to less than 1038°C, and an electrode material is obtained.
