(EN) A method of manufacturing a ceramic honeycomb filter, comprising a ceramic honeycomb structure having a large number of flow passages partitioned by partition walls and seal parts. (a) A tubular member is inserted into each of one or more of flow passages opened at the end face of the ceramic honeycomb structure, and a seal material for forming the seal parts is filled from the tubular member into each of these flow passages. (b) The tubular members are moved to each of one or more flow passages to be sealed at positions in the diagonal direction of the flow passage and inserted therein, and the seal material is filled therein. Then, the steps above are repeated.
(FR) Procédé de fabrication d’un filtre en nid d’abeilles céramique, comprenant une structure en nid d’abeilles céramique comportant un grand nombre de passages de flux partitionnés par des parois séparatrices et des éléments d’étanchéification. (a) Un élément tubulaire est inséré dans chacun des un ou plusieurs passages de flux ouverts sur la face d’extrémité de la structure en nid d’abeilles céramique, et un matériau étanche formant les éléments d’étanchéification est injecté depuis les éléments tubulaires dans chacun de ces passages.
