PURPOSE: To solve a high cost problem of conventional photocatalyst films and provide a method capable of inexpensively manufacturing a functional photocatalyst film that has high photocatalytic activity and hydrophilicity and is excellent in transparency, weatherability and flexibility.

CONSTITUTION: A photocatalyst structure comprises: a hydrophilic base layer(2) formed on the surface of a hydrophobic film substrate(1); an intermediate layer(3) formed on the base layer by covalent bonding of water-soluble titanium oxide having photocatalytic inactivity; and a photocatalyst layer(4) formed on the intermediate layer by covalent bonding of water-soluble titanium oxide having photocatalytic activity, wherein the hydrophobic film substrate, base layer, intermediate layer and photocatalyst layer are formed as a transparent body, wherein the hydrophobic film substrate is a transparent polyethylene terephthalate film having antistatic property, wherein the hydrophobic film substrate is adhered onto the surface of glass, wherein the base layer has hydrophilicity by processing the surface of the hydrophobic film substrate itself, wherein the intermediate layer comprises an aqueous peroxotitanate solution of amorphous titanium peroxide as a principal component, wherein the photocatalyst layer comprises a mixed solution of an aqueous peroxotitanate solution of amorphous titanium peroxide and a peroxo-modified anatase sol of anatase-type titanium oxide dispersion as a principal component.

본 발명은 소수성 기재 위에 수용성의 공촉매활성을 가진 산화티탄의 도막을 확실하게 형성해 내는 동시에, 광촉매 활성이 크고 친수성이 우수한 광촉매구조를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 이 과제를 달성하기 위해, 소수성 필름 기재(1)의 표면을 기초층(2)에 의해 친수성화하고, 이 친수성의 기초층(2) 위에 수용성의 광촉매 불활성의 산화티탄으로 이루어진 중간층(3)을 공유결합에 의해 형성하고, 이 중간층(3) 위에 수용성의 광촉매활서의 산화티탄으로 이루어지는 광촉매층(4)을 공유결합헤 의해 형성시키는 구조로 이루어진다. 이에 따라, 수용성의 광촉매활성의 산화티탄으로 이루어지는 광촉매층(4)을 소수성 필름 기재에 균일하고 활실한 도막으로, 간단하게 형성시킬 수 있고, 광촉매 활성 및 친수성이 우수한 광촉매필름을 얻을 수 있다.
