SOLUTION: A wheel loader comprises a work machine, an acquisition part and a control part. The work machine includes a bucket. The control part controls an excavation operation for the excavation object by the bucket of the work machine on the basis of the soil information acquired by the acquisition part.

【課題】掘削対象物に応じた掘削姿勢による効率的な掘削動作が可能なホイールローダを提供する。
【解決手段】ホイールローダは、作業機と、取得部と、制御部とを備える。作業機は、バケットを含む。取得部は、掘削対象物の土質に関する土質情報を取得する。制御部は、取得部で取得した土質情報に基づき作業機のバケットによる掘削対象物に対する掘削動作を制御する制御部とを備える。
