The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polyurethane resin forming composition which is for use in sealing a membrane module and which exhibits a low viscosity and excellent curability and can minimize the odor and peculiar flavor of a treated liquid. This polyurethane resin forming composition for use in sealing a membrane module comprises (A) a polyol component which contains (a) a polyoxyalkylene polyol and/or (b) an ethylene oxide adduct thereof and (B) an organic polyisocyanate component, and is characterized in that: the component (a) bears hydroxypropyl groups at the molecule terminals; the primary hydroxyl content of the groups is 40% or more; the total unsaturation of the components (a) and (b) is 0.010meq/g or less; and the contents of low-boiling by-products (t) in the components (a) and (b) are 0.020wt% or lower relative to the weights of the components (a) and (b) respectively, said low-boiling by-products (t) being by-products which exhibit boiling points of 150 DEG C or lower at normal pressure.

本发明的目的在于提供膜组件的密封材料用聚氨酯树脂形成性组合物,其是低粘度且固化性优异,利用膜组件得到的处理液的臭味少,处理液较少产生特殊味道,本发明的膜组件的密封材料用聚氨酯树脂形成性组合物由多元醇成分(A)与有机多异氰酸酯成分(B)构成,所述多元醇成分(A)含有聚氧亚烷基多元醇(a)和/或(a)的环氧乙烷加成物(b),其特征在于,所述(a)的分子末端为羟丙基,而且该羟丙基的伯羟基含量至少为40%,所述(a)和所述(b)的总不饱和度为0.010meq/g以下,并且常压下沸点为150℃以下的副产低沸点化合物(t)在所述(a)和所述(b)中的含量分别为所述(a)和所述(b)的重量的0.020重量%以下。
