L'invention concerne un arbre d'hélice, lequel arbre comporte une bague externe (10) dans laquelle sont formés une pluralité de trous de boulon (13) pénétrant dans une direction axiale, un élément de transmission de puissance disposé avec une certaine liberté de façon à osciller dans la bague externe (10), un élément d'arbre (30) ayant une partie d'extrémité avant dans laquelle est formée une partie de grand diamètre (31), et une partie d'extrémité arrière qui est reliée à l'élément de transmission de puissance, un élément d'étanchéité en caoutchouc (40) pour sceller hermétiquement une ouverture de côté avant de la bague externe (30), et un élément de protection en forme de disque (108) monté entre la partie de grand diamètre (31) et la partie d'extrémité arrière de l'élément d'arbre (30), une partie d'espacement (84) pour un outil de serrage de boulon (91) étant formée dans l'élément de protection (108), et la partie d'espacement (84) étant formée sous une forme annulaire centrée sur un axe (O1).
