A relay device 3 provided in a vehicle 1 having a battery 11, converting control signal formats, and relaying same between: a first communications unit 13 that sends and receives control signals in a first format relating to charging; and a second communications unit 23 that supplies DC voltage, is provided in a charging station 2 that charges the battery 11, and sends and receives control signals in a second format relating to charging. The relay device 3 comprises: a limiting unit that limits the power supplied between the charging station 2 and the battery 11, regardless of control on the vehicle 1 side performed on the basis of control signals; an acquisition unit that obtains DC voltage supplied by the charging station 2 and obtains the voltage of the battery 11; a determination unit that determines whether or not the voltage difference between each obtained voltage is less than a threshold value; and a release unit that releases the limits by the limiting unit if a determination has been made that the voltage difference is less than a threshold value.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de relais (3) installé dans un véhicule (1) doté d'une batterie (11), ledit dispositif convertissant des formats de signaux de commande et les relayant entre : une première unité de communication (13) qui envoie et reçoit des signaux de commande dans un premier format correspondant à la charge ; et une seconde unité de communication (23) qui fournit une tension continue, placée dans une station de charge (2) qui charge la batterie (11) et envoie et reçoit des signaux de commande dans un second format correspondant à la charge. Le dispositif de relais (3) comprend : une unité de limitation qui limite la puissance fournie entre la station de charge (2) et la batterie (11), indépendamment des commandes appliquées au niveau du véhicule (1) sur la base de signaux de commande ; une unité d'acquisition qui obtient la tension continue fournie par la station de charge (2) et la tension de la batterie (11) ; une unité de détermination qui détermine si oui ou non la différence de tension entre chacune des tensions obtenues est inférieure à une valeur seuil ; et une unité de libération qui libère les limites de l'unité de limitation s'il a été déterminé que la différence de tension est inférieure à une valeur seuil.
