This heat pump cycle is provided with: a first utilization side heat exchanger (12) for exchanging heat between a high-pressure coolant discharged from a discharge port of a compressor (11) and a heat exchange target fluid and heating the heat exchange target fluid; a first pressure reducing unit (13) for reducing the pressure of the high-pressure coolant discharged from the first utilization side heat exchanger (12) until the high-pressure coolant becomes an intermediate-pressure coolant; a gas-liquid separating unit (14) that separates the gas and liquid of the coolant that has passed through the first pressure reducing unit and discharges the separated gas-phase coolant to an intermediate pressure port side; second pressure reducing units (25, 29) for reducing the pressure of the liquid-phase coolant separated by the gas-liquid separating unit (14) until the liquid-phase coolant becomes a low-pressure coolant; additional heat exchangers (20, 71) for exchanging heat between the coolant that has passed through the second pressure reducing unit and a heating medium, and for discharging the coolant to an intake port side; and second utilization side heat exchangers (26, 28) for exchanging heat between the liquid-phase coolant separated by the gas-liquid separating unit and a target fluid and for discharging the coolant to the second pressure reducing unit side.
