A connector is provided with which it is possible to prevent damage to side walls (18). A housing (10) has a mounting hole (17) in which a retainer (60) is mounted, and side walls (18) for closing off the mounting hole (17) from both sides. The side walls (18) are provided with lock-receiving units (22). Locking projections (68) are provided to the outer surface of the retainer (60), the locking projections (68) sliding while causing the side walls (18) to deflect as the locking projections (68) are inserted into the mounting hole (17), and the locking projections (68) releasing the deflected state of the side walls (18) and advancing into the lock-receiving units (22) when the locking projections (68) have reached a position corresponding to the lock-receiving units (22). Both end corner parts of the locking projections (68) in the sliding-width direction (Y) have a chamfered shape, the sliding-width direction (Y) being one that is orthogonal to the direction in which the locking projections (68) slide on the side walls (18).

La présente invention concerne un connecteur avec lequel il est possible d'éviter d'endommager des parois latérales (18).
