A fuel cell (20) comprising a fuel electrode (21), an air electrode (23), and a solid electrolyte layer (22) arranged between the fuel electrode (21) and the air electrode (23). A solid electrolyte layer (22) has a zirconia-based material as the main component thereof. A first intensity ratio (R1) for tetragonal zirconia relative to cubic zirconia in a Raman spectrum of a center section (22A) of the solid electrolyte layer (22) is larger than a second intensity ratio (R2) for tetragonal zirconia relative to cubic zirconia in a Raman spectrum of the outer rim (22B).

La présente invention concerne une pile à combustible (20) comportant une électrode à combustible (21); une électrode à air (23); et une couche d'électrolyte solide (22) disposée entre l'électrode à combustible (21) et l'électrode à air (23). Une couche d'électrolyte solide (22) comporte un matériau à base de zircone en tant que composant principal. Un premier rapport d'intensité (R1) pour phase quadratique de zircone sur phase cubique de zircone dans un spectre Raman d'une section centrale (22A) de la couche d'électrolyte solide (22) est supérieur à un second rapport d'intensité (R2) de phase quadratique de zircone sur phase cubique de zircone dans un spectre Raman du bord extérieur (22B).
