In this endoscope apparatus, multiple images I(t1)-I(tn) (n is an integer) of an observed object are obtained continuously at times t1-tn with time intervals therebetween, coordinates of an observation position are identified in each of the images, and multiple corresponding pixel positions between the image I(tn) and image I(tn-1) are detected as correspondence points. When the coordinates of the observation position in the image I(tn) cannot be identified, the coordinates of the observation position identified in the image I(tn-1) are converted to the coordinates in the coordinate system of the image I(tn), and the direction of the converted coordinates of the observation position relative to the image center is calculated and displayed together with the image I(tn).

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'endoscopie dans lequel de multiples images (I(t1) à I(tn)) (n est un nombre entier) d'un objet observé sont obtenues en continu à des moments (t1 à tn) avec des intervalles de temps entre ces derniers, des coordonnées d'une position d'observation sont identifiées dans chaque image et de multiples positions de pixels correspondantes entre l'image (I(tn)) et l'image (I(tn-1)) sont détectées comme étant des points de correspondance.
