The present invention creates a position indicator capable of providing pen pressure data while making the best use of the effective range of input and output characteristics of a pressure detection unit in a given position detection device. A position indicator is provided with: a core body (2) having a tip part which protrudes outward from one of the openings in the axial direction of a case (including a case (101) and a metal opening (102)), and a rear end part positioned on the opposite side of the tip part; a pressure detection part (4) which is housed in the case so as to be able to be pressed by the rear end part and which detects the pen pressure applied to the tip part on the basis of the pressure received by the rear end part; a holding member (6) which holds the pressure detection part (4) at a predetermined position in the axial direction of the case; and an elastic member (3) which is disposed between the pressure detection part (4) and the core body (2) and which applies pressure to the core body (2) in the direction from the rear end part to the tip part.

L'invention concerne un indicateur de position capable de fournir des données de pression de stylo tout en utilisant de manière optimale la plage efficace de caractéristiques d'entrée et de sortie d'une unité de détection de pression dans un dispositif de détection de position donné. Un indicateur de position est pourvu : d'un corps d'âme (2) ayant une partie d'embout qui dépasse vers l'extérieur depuis l'une des ouvertures dans la direction axiale d'un boîtier (incluant un boîtier (101) et une ouverture en métal (102)), et une partie d'extrémité arrière positionnée sur le côté opposé de la partie d'embout ; d'une partie de détection de pression (4) qui est logée dans le boîtier de façon à pouvoir être pressée par la partie d'extrémité arrière et qui détecte la pression de stylo appliquée à la partie d'embout sur la base de la pression reçue par la partie d'extrémité arrière ; d'un organe de maintien (6) qui maintient la partie de détection de pression (4) à une position prédéterminée dans la direction axiale du boîtier ; et d'un organe élastique (3) qui est disposé entre la partie de détection de pression (4) et le corps d'âme (2) et qui applique une pression au corps d'âme (2) dans la direction allant de la partie d'extrémité arrière à la partie d'embout.
